YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK

Yosemite Valley
Yosemite National Park is located in the Sierra Nevada of east central California. Its granite cliffs & domes, mostly formed by glacial erosion, are some of the most photographed views in the National Park system. Famous for its spectacular waterfalls (Yosemite Falls is the 3rd tallest in the world), Yosemite is a must see for anyone who enjoys nature's beauty. For the adventure minded, Yosemite has great hiking, backpacking, rafting & world class rock climbing.

Yosemite has three grooves of giant sequoia trees. Mariposa Groove is the largest with over 200 giant sequoia, while Tuolumne Groove & Merced Groove have about 20 giant sequoia trees each. Pictures don't do this tree justice. Growing over 250 ft tall, with a 25 ft diameter & living over 2,500 years, these trees are a must see in person.
